His office was the first dental office in Jacksonville to have intraoral fiberoptic cameras, allowing the patient to see their own back teeth magnified up to 25 times their normal size, and one of the first to utilize digital x-rays, cutting the patient’s exposure to radiation by up to 90%. Although cosmetic dentistry has gained a lot of publicity recently, Dr. Cowie has been enhancing patient’s smiles with porcelain veneers for over 18 years.
