Robert R. Cowie, DDS, FAGD, earned his B. A. in Zoology from DePauw University and his D.D.S. from Northwestern University Dental School. He practices in Jacksonville, Florida.

He is a member of the ADA, the American Equilibration Society, American and Florida Academies of Dental Practice Administration, Pierre Fauchard Academy, and Toastmaster's International, as well as a Fellow in the AGD and American College of Dentists. He has served since 1998 as a member of the Executive Council of the Florida Academy of Dental Practice, and is a past president of the Jacksonville Dental Society and past secretary of the Clay County Dental Society.

He has completed the continuums at the Dawson Center for Advanced Dental Studies, the Pankey Institute, and the Society for Occlusal Studies.

He served as a visiting lecturer at Northwestern University Dental School and as an associate clinical Instructor at the University of Florida Dental School, Jacksonville Clinic. He was on the staff of the Baptist Medical Center in Jacksonville for more than 20 years.
